I Probably Hate You......

The ONLY problem with having over ten best friends is that you never have enough time.

No time for yourself, not enough to spend with each individual person, and none for your dog. Someone ends up getting hurt.

I still wouldn't trade it for anything though. I love all of my besties.

I know giving up Bean is the best thing for him, but why does it hurt SO fucking much???

I'm just letting you all know that the Isabella Country Animal Shelter is full, so if you're near Mt. Pleasant and you want a pet, now is the time to act!!

Dogs are only 120 including all of their shots and being spayed/neutered. Cats are only 80 dollars. All of their shots are taken care of for at least a year and you don't have to worry about them having more babies!! It's a great price for all of that. Act before they have to start euthanizing some of those poor babies.

(But please only adopt an animal if you have the resources to take care of it-that means spending time with them, being able to feed them, etc.)

Also, if you have a pet already and they are not spayed/neutered, please go do that now! The world doesn't need any more unwanted pets, there are already tons of them being killed every day because of some people's irresponsibility. Thanks for listening guys! I'll get off my soapbox now.

So....I made strawberry dacquiris last night. I'm sorry I can't spell dackerays. Haha....definetly tired. Just me and Brad last night, and I already had strawberries so instead of margaritas I made the...see above. He drank cheap beer and we played the Friends drinking game, we watched an episode of friends and had to drink a shot each time a character's name was said. We got good and drunk.

Tonight we're going to the movies, our choices are: Invincible, Snakes on a Plane, Accepted, Little Miss Sunshine, and WTC. The ones we're DEFINETLY not seeing are Step Up, Barnyard, and Material Girls. Oh, and Talladega Nights, but we already saw it. If you'd like to vote on what we see tonight, please comment. I think barely any of my friends watch my LJ anymore.

All in all, a great 21 month anniversary :)

I want to be rich so that I can do "Alycia's Travelling Animal Care Center" and go from city to city doing free shots and neutering and stuff for people who can't afford to get it done, so that the overpopulation of cats and dogs will stop! Also toughen up the animal abuse laws. That's all I want to do today, I'll think up more tomorrow.

Just as I was starting to panic, God swooped (sp? is that even a word?) down and saved me in more ways that I can even imagine!!! I am so grateful right now.
Just to recap all of you clueless folks, I was living in Mt. Pleasant with Brad for a few months, no friends, I quit my stupid job, no school....I was about to go out of my mind!!!! Brad was paying for the rent and allof my bills, so were both pretty stressed out. Also, Im lonely as heck and need someone to talk to. Lo and behold, in the same seven days, I get a job at Kohls, Megan moved to MP, and were petsitting Brads parents pets!


I GOT THE FREAKIN JOB!!!!!!! 1,200 people applied for these jobs and there were only 160 openings. But I kicked butt at the interview and I looked pretty :) Plus my resume is awesome. Yeah.

I LOVE MEGAN! Ive probably seen her almost every day since she got here. I know that wont keep up once Michelle is back, but its been pretty nice so far.

I ADORE PETS! Maggie the dog and Mario and Luigi the kittens (annabelles brothers) have been here for the most part, and its been wonderful.

Umm no wedding stuff this time. Too panicked over that....maybe next week.

***Also, I am aware that there are no apostrophes in my post. There is something wrong with my comp and everytime I try to update LJ and put those little things in there, it opens my "Find" box at the bottom of the screen. So I was screaming at my computer alot during this update, I hate improper punctuation. That is all. Thank you.

Something that is just pissing me off about the Lance Bass People interview (yes, I read the whole thing) is what everyone said to him after he came out to them. His grandma said "you're still welcome in my house" and everyone else was like, "I'm okay with it" "I accept you". I can't wait until society has reached a maturity where when someone comes out they don't automatically get the cover of People. Do people get magazine covers when they come out with "I'm Straight!". No, they don't. I'm pro-gay, getting the idea out there that it's completely normal, and wonderful, to be gay. I'm not personally gay, and I'm not going to say something like most of my friends are, because they're not. But I do know some gay people and I love them. Not BECAUSE of them being gay, but because of who they are already.

I don't know, I'm really frustrated with this whole thing. I'm beginning to detest George Bush just on this reason, even if he is cute like a monkey. Also, I can't wait to see the WTC movie. I'm not paying for death. I'm watching it because I don't even really understand what happened, and I would love to see it all laid out for me. Also, maybe seeing it from a different point of view than suburbia will help people get more passionate towards homeland security.

I know I haven't madea real update in a looong time, so here it goes people!

I just moved into my apartment in Mt. Pleasant, Brad and I are doing well, there are still a lot of things to unpack. We got a new kitten, who we originally named Annabelle. Then that got shortened to Bella and Anna Banana. Then just to Banana. So....she's named after a fruit now. :)


I'm looking into taking classes in the fall, so cross your fingers for me! Also I'm working at the Glen's in Alma, starting next week. YAY! We're getting married a year and a half from YESTERDAY so I'm kind of freaking out. Later.
